New River’s Edge is located on the beautiful banks of the New River in Pembroke, Virginia – only 20 minutes from Blacksburg and Virginia Tech and 25 minutes from Radford University making it the perfect place to hang out on those busy graduation weekends. The rustic log A-frame cabin can accommodate up to 12 guests and offers a full kitchen and 2 full baths, lounging area with satellite television and a large deck overlooking the river and grounds. Close the Appalachian Trail, Cascade Falls, and Mountain Lake Conservancy.

Hemlock Haven Cabins. All cabins at Hemlock Haven are rented by the week during prime season under Hungry Mother State Park. The Pines and other cabins at Hemlock Haven require weekly stays, Friday to Friday, Memorial Day through Labor Day. A minimum two-night stay is required otherwise, and sometimes such shorter stays can be arranged during prime season by calling 30 days in advance. All cabins at Hemlock Haven are priced the same as two-bedroom cabin rentals.

Moose Cabin is located on the New River in tranquil Pembroke Virginia. It is a scenic 20 minutes drive from Blacksburg and Virginia Tech. The Cabin is a great place to stay for Hokie football weekends. The surrounding area offers many activities, fishing, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, just relaxing, and the beautiful Cascade Waterfall state park is located right here in Pembroke also. What accommodations could be better than a peaceful cabin right on the New River, certainly not a motel or hotel.
